Direct Answer

RedirHub runs the links on your domains: URL and domain redirects, branded short links, dynamic QR codes and website migrations. You point a domain's DNS to RedirHub and manage everything from one dashboard, with HTTPS, analytics and a global edge network included. There is nothing to host or configure on a server.

Setting up redirects usually means web hosting, server configuration and SSL certificates for domains that don't even have a website. RedirHub takes all of that off your plate. You decide where each domain, subdomain or path should go, and RedirHub answers those requests over HTTPS from servers around the world.

What you can do with RedirHub#

  • Domain and URL redirects: send an old domain to a new one, redirect non-www to www, forward single paths, or catch every subdomain with a wildcard. Set up your first redirect.
  • Branded links: short, readable links on your own domain, such as go.yourbrand.com/offer. Learn about branded links.
  • Dynamic QR codes: change where a printed QR code leads without reprinting it. Learn about dynamic QR codes.
  • Website migrations: import thousands of old-to-new URL mappings from a CSV file so no page is lost when a site moves. Plan a migration.
  • Analytics and monitoring: see how many visitors each link gets, and get warned when a destination breaks. Redirect monitoring.
  • Automation: manage redirects from your own tools with the REST API, or from AI assistants with the RedirHub MCP server.

How it works#

  1. You create a redirect in the dashboard: where visitors come from and where they should go.
  2. You point the domain to RedirHub with a DNS record at your current DNS provider. Your domain stays where it is. Which DNS changes?
  3. RedirHub detects the change, issues an SSL certificate, and starts answering requests. Certificates are renewed for you.

Is RedirHub right for you?#

RedirHub is a good fit if you:

  • own the domain you want to redirect and can change its DNS records (or can ask whoever manages them),
  • want a whole domain, some subdomains or specific paths to send visitors somewhere else,
  • need those links to keep working over HTTPS without running a server for them.

RedirHub is not website hosting. It sends visitors to your site rather than serving it, although it can show a simple page with Custom HTML.

Plans#

You can start with a 14-day free trial on Core or Pro. Plans differ in domains and links, monitoring, analytics history and team features. Compare them on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions

No. Your domain stays with your registrar and DNS provider. You only add or change the DNS records for the names you want RedirHub to handle.

No. RedirHub answers requests for your domain directly and handles HTTPS, so a domain that only needs to redirect does not need hosting.

Yes. Core and Pro each come with a 14-day free trial. After the trial, Core is $49/month for 25 domains and 2,500 managed links, and Pro is $119/month for 250 domains and 10,000 managed links.

Only if the whole hostname points to RedirHub. RedirHub handles every request for a hostname you point to it, so use it for domains or subdomains that should redirect, not for a few pages of a site that is still hosted elsewhere on the same hostname.
